Israel-Hamas clash toll reaches 1000 as Israel targets Gaza, Thousands injured

On the third day of conflict between Israel and Hamas, attacks continued from both sides. Israel has destroyed more than 400 Hamas positions in Gaza.

The conflict continues between Israel and Palestine. Continuous retaliatory action is being taken from Israel's side. The number of deaths from both sides in the conflict has crossed 1100. While so far about 700 Israelis have died and more than 1900 have been injured in Hamas attacks, in Israel's retaliatory action more than 450 Palestinians have lost their lives and about 2300 are injured.

At the same time, it has freed more than 29 areas from the control of Hamas. On the other hand, Hamas claims that it has kidnapped more than 150 Israelis including women, children and soldiers.

America has also entered the conflict. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered the Navy's 'Ford Carrier Strike Group' to go to the Eastern Mediterranean Sea to be ready to assist Israel. Officials said the USS Gerald R. Ford, along with its approximately 5,000 naval personnel and warplanes, would be dispatched along with cruisers and destroyers.

It’s possible purpose is to monitor and prevent additional weapons from reaching Hamas. An American official said that preliminary reports indicated that at least four American citizens have died in the attacks and seven other Americans are missing.

According to media reports, there are about 18 thousand Indians in Israel. Everyone is safe now. Citizens of Nepal, America, France, Germany and Ukraine have died in Hamas attacks. It is being said that Hamas has also kidnapped Thai citizens in Israel.

USA has despatched one of it’s warships to the conflict zone in a bid to shore up Israeli’s defence, according to the reports. US has also said that it is with Israel.
