Hangzhou (China): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday discussed about enhancing the ties between United Kingdom and India in his first bilateral meeting with Britain's newly appointed Prime Minister Theresa May on the sidelines of the G-20 Summit.
The Indian Prime Minister stated that fighting corruption, black money and tax-evasion were central for effective financial governance. "We need to act to eliminate safe havens for economic offenders, track down and unconditionally extradite money launderers," said the Premier while discussing on building opportunities aftermath UK’s exit from the European Union which is the world’s largest market.
