Yogi Adityanath reignites 'love jihad', 'Kairana migration' issues

Lucknow: Playing the religious card during the pre-poll campaign, the firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Yogi Adityanath said that controversial issues like 'love jihad' and 'Kairana Hindu exodus' have always been on his party's agenda.

Yogi, who attended a political debate on a leading news channel here, said that alleged migration of Hindus in Kairana, love jihad and safety of women are few issues that were and will always remain BJP's prime agenda.

Accusing the ruling Akhilesh Yadav government of doing caste-based politics, the BJP MP said that if his party comes to power, the development schemes will be above caste and religion as BJP believes in 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas'.

When asked about the controversial Ram Mandir issue, BJP leader said, "The hurdles on the path of construction of a grand Ram temple will be gradually removed and its construction will soon start in Ayodhya."
