OMG: Woman constable's account credited with Rs 100cr in Mainpuri

Mainpuri: In a surprising incident, the bank account of a woman constable, posted in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh, was credited with around Rs 100 crore on Friday.

The woman constable, Rekha Yadav, immediately faxed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about her State Bank of India (SBI) account being credited with Rs 100 crore. The account, from which the money was transferred, is yet to be traced.

Etah - Earlier, a labourer's Jan Dhan account in ICICI bank was credited with around Rs 4 crore. The labourer, named Arvind, came across the development when a new ATM arrived at his residence which he never applied for. He went to the bank with complaint of being unable to withdraw cash using his old ATM. There he was informed that his account balance was Rs 3,72,00,960.

His account was seized immediately by the bank officials and in a few days, he also went missing.

Agra - The savings bank account of a Sumit Nagar-resident, named Sandeep Tiwari, was credited with around Rs 100 crore. He works in a biscuit company in the district. He came across the development when he visited his bank branch on being unable to withdraw cash using his ATM.

His account had Rs 99,99,91,723 at the time. His mother had stated that her family had never heard of such huge amount of money either.
