BJP minority cell opposes the release of Udta Punjab

Gorakhpur: Bollywood film director Anurag Kashyap is facing protest in his birth place as now members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) minority cell burnt the posters of his latest released film ‘Udta Punjab’.

The members of the BJP minority cell hit the streets and burnt the posters of film along with an effigy of Anurag kashyap under the leadership of Irfan Ahmad and demanded to impose a ban on the movie.

Anurag was born in Gorakhpur on September 10, 1972.

“The film is hurting our religious sentiment and it shows a wrong image of Punjab, We will intensify our protest if it is not banned,” said Irfan Ahmad, former president of the BJP minority cell.
