Rajnath Singh & Other Prominent Leaders from UP to Become Ministers: Know Who Received the Call to Take Oath This Evening
The NDA government 3.0 is expected to have a significant presence from Uttar Pradesh. Calls have been made to BJP and its allied leaders in the state.
The swearing-in ceremony of the third NDA government will take place today, Sunday evening, at 7:15 PM at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take the oath of office, along with several MPs from parties including TDP, JD(U), Apna Dal, RLD, and other NDA allies, who will also be sworn in as ministers. It is certain that many prominent MPs from Uttar Pradesh will become ministers.
According to sources, several MPs from UP are set to become ministers in NDA 3.0. Those who will be made ministers have already received calls. It is believed that senior BJP leader and MP from Lucknow Rajnath Singh, Apna Dal (S) leader and MP from Mirzapur Anupriya Patel, and RLD leader and Rajya Sabha MP Jayant Chaudhary are certain to become ministers.
Additionally, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dinesh Sharma and newly elected MP from Pilibhit and UP government's PWD Minister Jitin Prasada are also likely to be included in the list of ministers. This time, BJP and its allies suffered significant losses in the Lok Sabha elections in UP. The results announced on June 4 disappointed the BJP, as they could only win 33 out of 80 seats. Their allies RLD won two seats and Apna Dal secured one seat.
**How Were Ministers Chosen from Ally Parties?**
After PM Modi claimed to form the government, a meeting was held with NDA allies, including TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, JD(U) chief and Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, LJP leader Chirag Paswan, Apna Dal’s Anupriya Patel, and RLD’s Jayant Chaudhary, alongside Amit Shah and JP Nadda. During the meeting, BJP's central leadership asked the allies how many ministerial positions they wanted and what BJP's plans were. The allies presented their demands and views to the BJP leadership. Following hours of discussions within BJP's central leadership and with the allies, decisions were made regarding the number of ministerial positions each ally would receive.
By Saturday evening, once it was decided how many ministerial positions each ally would get, the information was communicated to the respective leaders of the alliance parties, and calls began to be made following their agreement.
