Lucknow: The Election Commission on Monday barred Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary and DGP from going on any official tour till the assembly election in the state is over.
In a fresh directive issued by the EC on Monday, UP Chief Secretary Rahul Bhatnagar and DGP Javeed Ahmed have been told not to hold any video conferencing or contact any of the District Magistrates in the state till the elections are over.
The order has been passed in a two-page letter issued by the Election Commission.
