Meerut: Five people were killed in a collision between a roadways bus and a truck in Naharpul area under Bahsun police station of Meerut district in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday, said Senior Superintendent of Police Dinesh Chandra Dubey.
A man sustained minor injuries in the accident and was relieved after first aid treatment was given to him at a private clinic.
The deceased have been identified as Nafeesa, Arvind, Ranjeet and Ahmad Hasan. The identity of one of the deceased was yet to be ascertained, he added.
