CM Yogi Adityanath's Dalit love a sham, says Mayawati

Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati who is facing a virtual rout in Uttar Pradesh has one more worry at hand.

As the current trend suggest, her party may not win more than 40 seats. In such a scenario, it will be difficult for her to retain the Rajya Sabha seat.

Her six year term will end on April 2 next year and 41 assembly members have to vote to get her elected again.

Of course, all the results are yet to be out and this assessment is based on early trends. The situation may change later.

Ten Rajya Sabha members elected from the state will retire in all next year. Out of the other nine members, six belong to the SP and one each to the Congress and the BSP.
