Lucknow: A major fire broke out at a branch of State Bank of India in a posh area of Patrakarpuram (Gomtinagar) of capital city of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.
Cause of fire is still unknown, stated the police officials. "The fire tenders reached the site as soon as we were informed about the mishap and the situation is under control," they further said.
The bank staff said that the damage is still being assessed by the senior officials.
