Lucknow: In a shocking incident, a 71-year-old elderly man attempted to rape a minor in Bistauli area of Ghazipur police station in Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh.
The incident came to light on Thursday when the minor went to the shop of accused to buy a packet of chips. The accused tried to disrobe the girl and was held by neighbors when the girl raised alarm, said police.
- The accused has been identified as Aqeel Ahmad.
- He was under the arrest of police.
