Kanpur: A scuffle took place last night in Nauraiya Kheda locality under Govind Nagar police station area of Kanpur after a girl was found in objectionable condition along with four boys in a car. The situation turned uglier when some locals tried to catch them and one of the boys attacked the people standing outside. They ,however, managed to escape.
- On Friday afternoon when some people saw the car again they caught them near an iron workshop.
- Police reached the spot and brought them in the police station.
- After this Samajwadi Party workers in alrage number reached the police station and demanded strict action against the boys.
- Ajay Prakash Singh, Station officer of Govind Nagar said that inquiry had been initiated in this regard.
- No arrest was made so far.
