Allahabad: Former Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) minister Anant Kumar Mishra and his parents failed to obtain any interim relief from Allahabad High Court in NRHM Scam.

The Allahabad high court directed them to appear before the CBI court on Nov 4, 2016 at Ghaziabad.

The CBI court had issued non-bailable warrant as well as for proceeding under section 82 of crpc against Anant Kumar, his father Dinesh Chand Mishra and mother Vimla Mishra.

Justice Arun Tondon disposed of the petition by saying that after their appearance their application regarding jurisdiction has to be decided by the court.

It is to recall that CBI had submitted charge sheet against Anant Kumar Mishra and his parents in NRHM Scam along with others.

In spite of summons, they did not appear in the court therefore NBW were issued against them and later order of proclamation under section 82 of crpc.

It was contended on behalf of petitioner that their application regarding jurisdiction of cbi court is pending before court which is still undecided.
