Chandauli (Uttar Pradesh): A major rail accident was averted when a coach of Purushottam Express derailed at Sasaram railway station in Mughalsarai division of Northern railway.
The coach, S-7, of New Delhi bound Purushottam Express derailed while crossing from platform no 1 of this railway station. No loss of life or property was reported in the accident.
