Triple talaq: Shia Muslim Personal Law Board executive sides with Centre

Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court declared Triple Talaq as unconstitutional on Thursday. The court stated that the practice of triple talaq violates the rights of Muslim women.

The HC judge, Justice Suneet Kumar, warning the All India Muslim Personal law board for opposing the government's decision of implementing Uniform Civil Code in the country, said, "No Personal Law Board is above the Constitution."
