Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF)and the Goa Police arrested four bookies who were betting on the ongoing IPL cricket matches from a hotel in Panaji in Goa.
These bookies were betting on the match played between KKR and SRH. Eight mobile phones and Rs six lakhs in cash were seized from their possession, police said.
The betting:
- The bookies were arrested from room number 310 of Majestic Hotel.
- Some documents were also seized from their possessions.
