Kanpur: In what can be termed as a blatant use of power, the men in khaki were spotted assaulting an ex-army man and his wife in Kanpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
The incident came to light in Akbarpur police station in Kanpur Dehat on Tuesday.
The issue:
- Ex-army man Swarn Singh and his wife were brutally beaten by the police over an argument.
- The policeman even used his wireless hand set to beat the couple.
- Policemen took them away after beating them in the police jeep.
