UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examination dates announced

Allahabad: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad on Friday announced the dates of Class 10 and Class 12 examinations for the 2017-18 batch.

The Class 10 (High School) examinations will begin on February 6 and will conclude on February 22, while Class 12 (Intermediate) examination will start on February 6 and will end on March 10.

The High School examination will take place on 14 working days while the Intermediate exams will occupy 25 working days.

The official announcement of the exam dates was made by UP Board Secretary Neena Srivastava.

To keep the mass cheating and other malpractices in check, the UP Board may also take strict measures.

Recently, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma had asked the officials of the secondary education department to announce the date sheet of the state board examinations by the end of October to provide enough time to the students for preparations.

It is worth mentioning that about 60 lakh students appear in the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations every year. The registration process for the examination ended last month only.
