Virat Kohli becomes fastest to score 8000 runs in ODIs

Birmingham: In yet another milestone, Indian skipper Virat Kohli has become the quickest batsman to score 8000 runs in ODIs.

Kohli reached the landmark in his 175th inning during India's chase of 265 against Bangladesh in the second semi-final of the Champions Trophy tournament at the Edgbaston Stadium here.

The second in the list is AB de Villiers, who took 182 innings to score 8000 runs. He is followed by Sourav Ganguly (200 innings), Sachin Tendulkar (210 innings) and Brian Lara (211 innings).
