MS Dhoni becomes second-most successful skipper in ODIs

Update: 2016-06-16 07:43 GMT

Harare: Indian skipper MS Dhoni has registered himself as the second most successful captain in One-Day-Internationals after scripting an audacious 3-0 win against Zimbabwe. He equalled Allan Border’s record of 107 wins in ODIs.

Australia’s two time World Cup winning team skipper Ricky Pointing tops the list with 165 wins.

Dhoni also reached another milestone as become India’s first wicketkeeper and globally fourth to complete 350 dismissals in ODIs.

Interestingly, MSD is India’s most successful skipper as India had topped the rankings in all three formats (ODIs, T20s and Tests) under his captaincy.
