Junior Hockey World Cup: India reaches quarters, outshines England

Lucknow: Indian Hockey team has ensured its place in the quarters of the Junior Hockey World Cup beating England 5-3 in Pool D match at 11^th FIH Junior Hockey World Cup at Major Dhyan Chand Astroturf stadium.

Shining in a big game, India posted 5-3 win over English team on Saturday.

England began the goal proceedings hitting first in the 10^th minute of the game. Then, Parvinder Singh, Armaan Qureshi and Harmanpreet Singh came like a hurricane scoring three consecutive goals in 35^th, 37^th and 45^th minutes of the game.

England, however, reduced the goal difference with Will Calnan (63rd) and Edward Horler (67th) hitting goals in the final minutes.
