India vs West Indies 1st ODI: West Indies wins toss; India to bat

Trinidad: In the opening encounter of the five-match series, West Indies won the toss and invited India to bat first at the Queen's Park Oval ground at Port of Spain here on Friday.

Ajinkya Rahane and Kuldeep Yadav have been included in the squad. Indian skipper Virat Kohli has already confirmed that Rahane will open the inning throughout the series. Kuldeep Yadav will be making his ODI debut today, while Ravindra Jadeja has been rested.

West Indies have recalled their star spinner Devendra Bishoo to play against one of the top ranked cricket teams across the world.
