Lucknow: Attacking Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav has stated that instead of focussing on development and progress of the state, the new 'Digital CM' of the state is busy talking about religion and communalism.

"UP's 'Digital CM' is busy giving speeches on Janmashtami and Eid, rather than talking about the work done by his government," the CM said.

Akhilesh Yadav, on Friday, addressed media regarding his detainment in Auriya on Thursday last and attacked the present government of the state over the problems of rural population in the state.

"Uttar Pradesh government has deceived the farmers and the villagers. the Police is free in their government to work as they want to. No law and order is being obeyed," said Akhilesh further accusing the UP police of getting bribed for removing the elected zila panchayat heads forcefully.

Akhilesh Yadav said that the state government has no courage to face public. "BJP has been elected to power with huge majority, still the CM is avoiding to go out in public and face their disappointment," stated SP President.

"The 'Digital CM' of the state has not worked for the benefit of the people and that is why he is diverting the statemen with talks on issues like Janmashtami, Eid and namaz," he further said adding that the CM is unable to discuss about the Metro, Expressway and other projects started by the SP.
