Lucknow: The Rajya Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday witnessed cross-voting by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Vijay Bahadur who voted in favour of a Samajwadi Party (SP) candidate.
“I had cast my vote on the basis of development done by the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and I am ready to make any sacrifice,” said Bahadur to mediapersons.
While, Krishna Paswan a BJP MLA from Khaga Fatehpur constituency, alleged that she was prevented from voting.
