Lucknow: Coming in support of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for his 'khoon ki dalali' remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Monday said that he must have his reasons before making such a statement against the PM.

What Akhilesh Yadav said?

  • Rahul must have said this after due thinking and he must have reasons behind his statement.
  • I have visited some of the martyrs' houses.
  • What the families of martyrs know about surgical strikes?
  • It is the poor who die at the end.

Samajwadi Party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia hit at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by accusing it of politicising the Indian Army's surgical strikes on terrorists launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC).

He said that like other political parties, SP too supports Army's action but gaining political benefits in the aftermath of the attack was unfortunate.
