Lucknow: Taking a dig at the BSP Supremo Mayawati, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday said that the ruling state government has constructed Lok Bhawan, the new CM Secretariat , out of the stones left by the past government who had constructed statues and memorials indiscreetly.
During a book releasing event at his newly constructed office in Lucknow, Akhilesh asked the Samajwadi Party (SP) supporters to spread the government's good work in public.
What Akhilesh said?
- Akhilesh Yadav released four books - Dr. Hariom Sharma's Khwabon Ki Hasi, Chandan Mishra's Growth Factory, Majaz Ambar's Naya Daur and Nayi Umang.
- When party workers chanted 'Zindabad' slogans, Akhilesh asked them to spread the good work of government in general public.
Akhilesh targets Mayawati:
- Slamming the BSP Chief Mayawati, UP CM said the former 'government of stones' did nothing for the state and we constructed Lok Bhawan out of the left stones.
- We have made annexe open for all while it was restricted during the BSP rule.
Akhilesh targets BJP:
- Without naming the Bharatiya Janata Party, Akhilesh Yadav said that few people come in power with a promise to bring 'Acche Din'.
- They did nothing for the people.
- All promises they made were just to mislead people and to swell their vote banks.
