Shimla: At least 14 people were killed and more than 35 others injured when a private bus fell into Beas river near Mandi town in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.

- The bus was on its way to Kullu from Mandi.
- Driver lost control over the bus and the bus fell into Beas river.
- More than 50 people were travelling in the bus at the time of accident.
- District administration and police officials rushed to the spot to carry rescue operation.
- Injured were taken to Zonal Hospital in Mandi.
- Investigation is underway.
