SSC 2020: Students in Telangana can appear as regular for advanced supplementary exams

SSC students who could not attend the exams scheduled from June 8 due to the prevailing coronavirus situation in the state can appear for advanced supplementary examinations, Telangana government told the High Court.

Telangana: SSC students who could not attend the exams scheduled from June 8 due to the prevailing coronavirus situation in the state can appear for advanced supplementary examinations, Telangana government told the High Court.

This comes after the court warned the government to stay the exams if it did not give a chance to students to appear for supplementary examinations.

SSC 2020:

Confirming it, the Telangana State Board of Secondary Education said, the students who are unable to appear for the SSC exams scheduled from June 8 to July 5.In addition, due to the coronavirus situation they can appear for advanced supplementary.

The board also clarified that such students will be considered as regular candidates. In addition, is applicable for only this academic year.

On Friday, Chief Justice Raghavendra Singh Chauhan and Justice B Vijaysen Reddy bench told the government to permit the students those who are not unable attend the upcoming exams to write the supplementary exams that are likely to be held in August or September.
