According to a study it is estimated that earth will take its full circle of 3-5 million years to get back to the level of biodiversity we currently enjoy not to mention with the toxic air, polluted water, and plastic landfills/ parched lands.
What if earth wants to cleans itself from this filth and go back to the time when modern human wasn't evolved and it was all in its beautiful lush green gardens, nurturing millions of trillion animal species.
Well, the damage is irreversible but giving earth's ability to recover it may take 5-7 million years depending on how quickly mammals recover.
Coming 20-100 years may register greater diversity loss if extinction rate doesn't dip.
Unfortunately, we turn deaf when it comes to restore our climate, flora and fauna. We might miss the chance to save Asian elephants from extinction as its chance are very thin, less than 33%, to make it to the 22nd century.
If we don't take serious measures to secure our biodiversity, we may lose Asian elephant as we lost mastodons and mammoths, who belonged to same species group.
To name some from animal kingdom who are on the verge of extinction, here we are listing the names of some endangered animal species:
1. Amur Leopard
2. Gorillas
3. Sea turtles
4. Orangutan
Sumatran Orangutan have lost nearly 80% of its population in the past 75 years mainly as a result of mass deforestation
5. Tiger
6. Rhinos
Three of the five species in the family of Rhinocerotidae, are among the most endangered species, Black Rhino, the Javan Rhino and the Sumatran Rhino.
