Unnao: The general manager of Unnao Bharatiya Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) was caught red handed taking a bribe on Wednesday night by a team of anti-corruption unit. An accountant with the telecom service provider was also arrested.
Acting on a tip off, the team led by Anmol Sachan caught TDM Rakesh Chandra Mishra and account officer U C Tripathi accepting Rs 50,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively, as bribe.
The complaint was made by one Rakesh Chandra Mishra of Unnao.
