Meerut: The Bhartiya Janata Party government’s ‘new love’ for the Dalit icon Bhimrao Ambedkar is not without the hidden agenda, says Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Puri Swami Swaroopanand .
According to him, the party is doing it to woo the Dalits, expanding its vote bank. “Instead of ‘Jai Ram’ the new slogan is ‘Jai Bhim’ for the party”, he emphasized.
The seer demanded inclusion of religion in the syllabus for students. It is because of its non-inclusion that students like Kanhaiya (JNU) are “born”.
