Lucknow: Five children of a family and a woman were crushed to death in a road mishap in Thakurganj area of state capital on Wednesday.
The accident occurred when a sand laden truck turned turtle over a roadside hutment, said police.
Few others were injured in the accident and were rushed to trauma centre for treatment. Meanwhile, additional police and PAC have been deployed in the area in view of tension in the area.
