Senior IAS officer Ashok Khemka tops PU law entrance exam

Chandigarh: With 166.37 marks, senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Ashok Khemkha has topped the Punjab University law entrance examination.

" I will take the evening course. I was always inclined towards law and would take up this as a profession post retirement," Khemka said to a National English daily.

Khemka was amongst the 3,987 candidates who had appeared for LLB (3-year) entrance test. Khemka is a 1991 batch Haryana cadre IAS officer and he come to limelight in the in the Robert Vadra land deal case.

Khemkha is also one of the most transferred IAS officers of the country.
