Azamgarh: The Rightwing Hindu leader Sadhvi Prachi was arrested on Friday for attending a function without the permission of the district administration.
Prachi accused SP Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and BSP chief Mayawti for making Kairana in Shamli a den of Islamic State by making Hindu families migrate from the area.
She was here to attend a programme of Hindu Jagaran Manch, for which the permission was denied by the district administration and was later arrested.
Sadhvi called Azamgarh the nursery of terrorism and said that terrorism which gripped the state had its roots attached to this place.
