New Delhi: Holding encounter of eight Students Islamic Movement of India(SIMI) terrorists in Bhopal as prima facie 'dubious', the BSP supremo Mayawati has demanded judicial probe into whole affair.
The eight SIMI terrorists, who had escaped from Bhopal central jail in the wee hours of Sunday, were tracked down hours after their escape and killed in an armed encounter with Madhya Pradesh police and Anti terrorist Squad (ATS).
''What could be gathered from the MP police version, it seemd the terrorists were unarmed but still killed instead of apprehended alive,'' she pointed out adding '' it requires a judicial probe into the encounter theory of MP police.''

In the latest SIMI terrorists case , the MP police itself had hinted at the collusion of police and jail authorities, Mayawati said. It would be most pertinent to order judicial probe into the matter to clear all doubts.
