Patna: After two senior Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leaders took on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over law and order situation in Bihar, the Janata Dal (United) on Saturday appealed to the RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav to take action against them.

“The remarks made by RJD leaders Raghuvansh Prasad Singh and Mohammad Taslimuddin were against the principles of Mahagatbandhan drama,” said a JD (U) statement.

“We have requested the RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Ji to take adequate action against the two leaders. They should be sacked from the party, if not controlled,” said JD (U) chief spokesman Sanjay Singh and added, “It never happened that a JD (U) member had made any statement against RJD leaders, as it is not good for an alliance”

Both the leaders had attacked the Nitish Kumar government soon after the RJD meeting of state and central parliamentary board in Bihar on Friday.
