UP CM Akhilesh to embark on his ' rath yatra ' from November 3

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday has shot off a letter to the party president Mulayam Singh Yadav informing him that he would begin ‘Samajwadi Vikas Rath Yatra’ from November 3 in order to popularize government schemes in poll bound UP.

In the letter, he has mentioned that the yatra which was to be undertaken earlier was postponed due to different reasons. He decided not to delay it further because other parties have already begun it.

The letter shows SP infighting has yet not subsided.

He may not be present in the foundation day celebration on November 5. Akhilesh has already sent letters to national party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav, state party president Shivpal Yadav and party MP Ram Gopal Yadav.
