Dayashankar gets bail in Mayawati case, BSP to move High Court

Mau: Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh, who was arrested for making derogatory remarks against Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati, has been granted bail by a local court of Mau district in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.

He has been asked to deposit Rs. 50,000 as surety by Additional District Judge- four court.

Meanwhile, BSP General Secretary Satish Chandra Mishra expressed displeasure over the decision and said the party would take the matter to the High Court.

What Dayashankar Singh had said?

  • Mayawati sells party tickets to anyone who pays her the highest amount

    • He followed it by making deprecatory comments on BSP supremo for which a case was filed against him.
