Dallas attack: Three snipers taken into custody, 5 cops killed

Dallas: The police was successful in taking three snipers in its custody after they opened fire during a protest on Friday morning; Police chief David Brown told media.

The fourth sniper was still exchanging gunfire with the police in a garage at downtown, David added.

Five police officers were killed in Dallas on late Thursday night after snipers opened fire on them. Seven others were injured in the fatal gun battle.

The gunfire broke out around 2045 hours on Thursday night.
