Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the 90th episode of his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat'. He began his address by talking about the 1975 emergency. "It was in June when the Emergency was proclaimed and the rights of citizens were snatched away. Among the rights curtailed included 'Right to Life & Personal Liberty'. There was an attempt to crush the democracy of India," Modi said, adding he was "fortunate to be a witness and participant' in the struggle of country's people."Modi also spoke about big feats that were accomplished in the country about the space sector and pointed out that no one even thought about startups in this area a few years back. Further, the Prime Minister also congratulated Neeraj Chopra for winning gold at the Paavo Nurmi Games.
