Modi's monthly 'Mann Ki Baat' marks its half century today
The show will be aired on AIR at 11:00 and one can also listen it on a toll free number. It will also be broadcast on DD National and DD News.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's monthly program 'Mann Ki Baat' has completed its 50th episode, today where he will address the nation through 'All India Radio' (AIR) at 11:00am.
Started on 3rd October 2014, the program 'Mann Ki Baat' has been delivering PM's voice to the general masses of the nation.
Modi took to his tweeter account and wrote:
On 3rd October 2014, we began the journey of #MannKiBaat.
With your blessings, this journey completes 50 episodes tomorrow, of sharing joy, positivity and amplifying the power of collective efforts.
I hope you will enthusiastically tune in tomorrow for the 50th episode. pic.twitter.com/cykhwF4y2j

Amidst its popularity the show has hosted former President of the United States, Barack Obama, in its January edition which was aired on 27 January 2015. Where Modi and Obama co-hosted the show and answered many calls from Indian citizens. The US President was in India to be a part of the Republic Day Parade.
In its first episode Modi urged the listeners to purchase Khadi clothes by which they could help poor weavers. After which the sale of khadi products went up by 120 per cent, according to PMO statement.
He also discussed Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the success of India's Mars Mission, skill development, Disabled children and MyGov.in website.

'Mann Ki Baat' turned out to be a major source of revenue for the 'All India Radio' with 10-second ad slot sold for 'Mann Ki Baat' 2 lakh (US$2,800).
