Equities close with marginal gains despite weak global cues

Mumbai: The Sensex on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index of the BSE after opening at 31,882.80 points, touched a high of 31,885.17 points and a low of 31,796.73 points.

On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 31,710.99 points.

The Sensex is trading at 31,852.54 points, up by 141.55 points or 0.45 per cent.
