Agra: Israel President, Reuven Rivlin, on Wednesday visited the Taj Mahal and the Triveni Water Treatment Plant in Agra. Rivlin met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the two leaders also signed a number of pacts including cooperation in fighting terrorism and boosting the trade and economic ties.

President Rivlin would also attend an Academic event on Thursday, where Indian and Israeli heads of universities will meet. MoU’s between prominent Israeli and Indian universities is also expected to be signed on this occasion.
