New Delhi: Another incident of embarrassment for an Indian national on foreign land has been reported. A married woman, on Saturday, was strip-searched at Germany's Frankfurt airport as part of random security check.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has sought a report about the incident from the Consul General of India at Frankfurt, Raveesh Kumar.

Sushma said, "Raveesh - Plz send me a report on this. @CGIFrankfurt."

The 30-year-old woman, in her Facebook post, said that she was asked to remove her clothes as part of routine security check while she was on her way to Iceland from India via Frankfurt.

She was accompanied with her Icelandic husband and four-year-old daughter.

Woman tagged the complete incident as 'racist' as she was the only one taken for strip search.
