Shimla, Himachal Pradesh —21st November 2025: The Hindu Struggle Committee has issued a statement alleging that despite the Shimla Municipal Corporation and the District Court declaring the Sanjauli Mosque in Sanjauli, Shimla, as illegal and ordering its removal, the structure has not yet been demolished. The organisation has claimed that, despite repeated objections raised by Hindu groups, prayers continue to be conducted on the premises with the support of the administration and the state government.

According to the Committee, after the mosque was declared legal in subsequent proceedings, the current Congress-led state government is intentionally refraining from executing the removal order. The organisation further stated that when protests were organised regarding the issue, fabricated cases were allegedly registered against the protestors with the intention of intimidation.

Anup Pandey, National General Secretary of the Hindu Struggle Committee, in a statement demanded the immediate withdrawal of the cases registered against Committee members.

He urged the district administration and the Municipal Corporation to initiate action for the removal of what is claimed to be an illegal structure as per earlier court directives. Pandey also alleged that illegal Bangladeshi immigrants and infiltrators involved in “land encroachment” activities are increasingly entering Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh and encroaching upon government land through the construction of unauthorised religious structures.

The Hindu Struggle Committee announced that it will soon launch a nationwide movement to identify and seek removal of illegally constructed mosques, shrines, and graveyards.

He further claimed that illegal infiltrators and individuals with extremist mindsets are conspiring to destabilize India, asserting that hatred against Hindus is being spread in madrasas and that incidents of bomb explosions are being carried out in various locations.

The Committee stated that it intends to submit a memorandum to the President of India demanding the closure of madrasas in the country.
