Delhi Police recreates Anaj Mandi fire; Documents evidence

The building was gutted in fire, on December 08, where at least 43 people died. To investigate the case in detail Delhi police recreated a fire incident here on Monday, which again blackened the sky color with a patch of black fumes, coming out cause of the police drill.

New Delhi: To probe the cause of fire of north Delhi's Anaj Mandi, a Delhi police team reached the building, on Monday, to reconstruct the crime scene and document the evidence using 3D laser scan technology, officials said.

The building was gutted in fire, on December 08, where at least 43 people died. To investigate the case in detail Delhi police recreated a fire incident here on Monday, which again blackened the sky color with a patch of black fumes, coming out cause of the police drill.

This is the second time, after the blaze at Arpit Palace hotel in Karol Bagh in Feb this year, that the police is using the technology to probe a fire incident.
