Coronavirus: Single day rise of 1,49,394 COVID-19 infections, 1,072 deaths

According to the new data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday, 1.49 lakh new cases of corona were reported in the country in the last 24 hours.

New Delhi: Now the new cases of corona coming daily in the country seem to be decreasing. Today, a decline of 13 percent has been registered on Friday as compared to yesterday and 1.49 lakh new cases were reported. However, according to the data released on Thursday, 6.8% more cases were registered today as compared to Wednesday.

The Indian Olympic Association said on Thursday that a day after being found positive in the Corona test, India's Winter Olympic team manager Mohammad Abbas has returned negative in two tests conducted in the last 24 hours. Abbas was found positive in the investigation conducted at the Beijing airport. IOA President Narinder Batra said that he was examined twice in the last 24 hours and the result has come negative.


Today 1,956 new cases of corona virus were reported in Mizoram, while no one died of corona in the last 24 hours.

7,430 new cases in MP: 

In Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday, 7,430 new cases of corona virus infection were reported, increasing the number of infected to 9,88,533. An official of the Health Department said that in the last 24 hours, nine people have died due to this disease in the state. Including this, a total of 10,639 people have lost their lives due to this disease in the state so far. 1,011 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Indore and 1,307 in Bhopal. Both these districts are most affected by this disease in the state.

According to the new data released by the Union Health Ministry on Friday, 1.49 lakh new cases of corona were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. According to the ministry, 1,49,394 new cases were registered, which is 13 percent less than yesterday. However, in the last 24 hours, 1072 people have died with a backlog. The number of active cases has come down to 14 lakh.
