Andhra Pradesh: Bus plunges into river, six dead in Vijayawada

Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh): At least eight people have lost their lives and more than 30 were injured when a private bus fell into river near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at National Highway 65 in Krishna district.
According to the police officer, "The bus made a stop near Vijayawada where a new driver took over . The driver did not see the bridge divider and overran on it which led the bus to plunged into the river."
- The injured were immediately taken to nandigama hospital, where doctors said that 10 injured are in critical condition.
- The bus was on its way to Hyderabad from Bhubaneshwar.
