Lucknow: Close on the heels of former President Pranab Mukherjee accepting RSS's invitation to its meet in Nagpur, another invitation by Vishwa Hindu Parishad to former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan has surprised everyone.
The interesting part of this is the acceptance by the former Reserve Bank of India Governor to attend the VHP's Vishwa Hindu Conference in Chicago city of US on September 11 to commemorate 125th anniversary of address of Swami Vivekanand to World Dharm Sansad.

The invitation of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has already stunned the Congress and now VHP's invitation to Rajan has evoked a fresh round of curiosity. It may be recalled that Rajan was not given the extension by Modi government after former's frank style of functioning.
According to sources,A� Raghuram Rajan has already been teaching in Chicago and given his consent to attend the event. Rajan's consent to attend the event is rather more surprisingA� than invitation by the VHP.
