Recruitment of teachers for more than 10 thousand posts

A big announcement has been made for teacher recruitment in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh Staff Selection Board (MPESB) has released a detailed notification for more than 10,000 teacher posts. Online applications for this recruitment will start from 28 January 2025, and candidates can apply till 11 February 2025 on the official website esb.mp.gov.in. After submitting the application form, candidates will be able to amend their application from 28 January 2025 to 16 February 2025. This recruitment exam will be conducted from 20 March 2025.
More than 10 thousand vacancies
This teacher recruitment is for various posts under the School Education Department and Tribal Affairs Department of Madhya Pradesh Government. It includes the posts of Secondary Teacher (Subject, Sports and Music-Singing Instrumental), Primary Teacher (Sports, Music-Singing Instrumental and Dance). Candidates can check the information of the respective posts in the table given below. These are government job opportunities, which are for all those candidates who are eligible and interested.
A total of 10,758 vacancies are available for various posts in the state. Out of these, 7929 vacancies are for Secondary Teacher (Subject), 338 vacancies for Secondary Teacher Sports, 392 vacancies for Secondary Teacher Music (Singing Instrumental), 1377 vacancies for Primary Teacher Sports, 452 vacancies for Primary Teacher Music (Singing Instrumental) and 270 vacancies for Primary Teacher-Dance.
Qualification
To participate in this teacher recruitment, it is necessary for the candidates to pass the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (2018/2023) with the prescribed percentage. Apart from this, there should be a graduate degree in the relevant subject or two-year diploma in elementary education or equivalent qualification. Apart from this, candidates who have graduation degree with minimum 50 percent marks in the relevant subject and one year B.Ed degree in education can also apply.
Apart from this, candidates having four-year B.Ed degree in elementary education with 12th or BA B.Ed / B.Sc. B.Ed / BA.Ed / B.Sc.Ed or equivalent qualification are also eligible for this recruitment. Different eligibility criteria have been fixed for other subjects, complete information of which can be obtained by the candidates from the official notification of recruitment.
Age limit
The minimum age of the candidates to apply in this recruitment has been fixed at 21 years, while the maximum age is different for different categories. The maximum age for male candidates of unreserved category is 40 years, while for unreserved women native of MP, it has been fixed up to 45 years. The maximum age for candidates of other reserved categories is also 45 years. Age will be calculated on the basis of 1 January 2024.
Salary
The initial salary of the candidates selected for these posts can be from Rs 25,300 to Rs 32,800. In addition, dearness allowance will be provided separately.
Application fee
To apply for this teacher recruitment, candidates of unreserved category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. At the same time, the application fee for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Divyangjan candidates who are natives of Madhya Pradesh only has been kept at Rs 250.
Exam date
The conduct of this recruitment exam will start from 20 March 2025. Candidates of the first shift will have to reach the examination center between 7 to 8 am, while the candidates of the second shift will have to reach the center between 1 to 2 pm.
